Today my dad and mom were Mr. And Ms.Claus at the Wellington Christmas Parade.We got there early with all the Interact kids from high school.My dad dressed up as a Florida style Santa with a Hawaiian shirt,sunglasses,and a guitar.This year was rockin’ Santa.

When we got there The Gypsy’s Horse was the only bar open so we went in and some of my friends were there from my school who were on the float in front of us in the parade.As you know my dad was Santa so we were last of the parade do even though the parade started at 1:00 we got out there at around 2:00.Time went by fast by handing out all the candy and talking to some interact members.The 2 mile walk took about 2 hours.

When we go to the end we Santa (my dad) chose a raffle ticket that went toward the winner of a $30,000 car.The winner was Philip *******.He wasn’t there and when they tried calling him he wouldn’t answer so hopefully he will believe his e-mail.

After pulling the raffle everyone was around Santa asking for pictures.It was really exciting to see the kids faces when they saw him.It was like they won the kid lottery.

Later we jumped on the float and were off back to the start of the parade where our cars were.It was pretty cool going 35mph on a float especially on a sled.

We jumped in our car,went home to get dressed properly,and went to dinner at Bonefish Mac’s,a great place to hangout with friends and for fish.There I had the captain special which comes with crab cakes,delicious shrimp,Mahi-Mahi,mashed potatoes,and french fries.I barely could eat three quarters of it I was that full.

Finally we got home and my parents took another nap while I took my dog out and played FIFA 12.

Just another day in paradise.

Today was a very short day with me waking up at 3:00 in the afternoon.

To begin when I awoke at 3:00 from going to bed at 5:00 in the morning the same day my dad was gone to Lords Place,a place where woman and kids go when they have no place to go so they stay there temporary until they find a place to go.Well my dad went there with a lot of other Rotarians to give presents to the kids for Christmas.

When my dad got back home he picked my mom and I up and went to the new La Granja in Wellington,FL near the Wellington Green Mall.At La Granja we had the same as always which was Pollo La Brasa (chicken),yellow rice,and french fries.While waiting for the food I looked Round and spotted on the television that Barcelona was playing against Real Madrid in soccer.The finishing score was 3-1 Barcelona.

After the food at La Granja we went back home for my parents to take a nap and me to hangout outside with my friends.

When I got home from being out with my friends I woke my parents,took a shower,and got dressed in my suit.We were going to the Morton’s Steakhouse in Palm Beach.There I had a delicious $60 filet mignon.I like my steaks medium rare so that is what I got it.

The couple we were with gave me a Christmas present which was a pretty cool Swatch.This watch is very comfortable.

Finally,after Morton’s we went back home and I was tired after a long and delicious dinner.

P.S.The picture of my plate is only the Alaskan King Crab leg.When I got the plate I was to eager to eat so I forgot to take the picture of the steak.

December 9th, 2011

Today we went to Ikea again in Plantation which is near Sawgrass and they have changed quite a bit.

Their food that they sell downstairs used to be other manufacturers like Abba,Ballerina,Anna,etc.Now they sell their own brand foods :’(

After looking and buying some foods we went upstairs to look for furniture.Their furniture is really bad quality but cheap…Walmart style in a way but Swedish.

After looking at the furniture we went to the cafe area which they have the Swedish Christmas Dinner that is $10.00 for a Swedish buffet with many Swedish dishes but not as much as last year.

After the dinner all 16 of us went to a friends house and spent some time..a lot of time.I jumped in the pool while there and drank my Gatorade.

Hey guys today my mom,dad,and my aunt and cousin went to Sawgrass Mills Mall this morning.When we got there we were starving so we went to the Rainforest Cafe.There I had a Guacamole burger with guacamole,bacon,pepper jack cheese,tomatoe,and lettuce.For desert we all shared the “Volcano!”,which is a big brownie with vanilla ice cream inside.At the top was a sparkler.
After lunch we looked around and then we were at the Nike Factory Store,where my dad got a lot of t-shirts and I got a purple jacket and to match a t-shirt.They look pretty sexy together.
Later,my mom and aunt went shopping while my dad,cousin,and me went to Cinnabon and shared a hug cinnamon roll.
After the mall we we to Ikea,a huge Swedish store that is always full.There we bought a lot of food from sauces to pancakes.
Finally we are all home safe and I’m playing some FIFA while parents are being massaged and relaxing.Just another day in paradise.

To all the family members and people who have died in or around the World Trade Center on 9/11/01 R.I.P.

10 years ago on this date 3 Al Qaeda members hijacked 3 planes.2 crashed into the 2 World Trade Centers and the other Crashed into the Pentagon.There was one more that passengers of the aircraft crashed into the ground in Pennsylvania somewhere and that one was said to be heading toward the White House.

Well anyway rest in peace for all that died and risk their lives to be heros of their country.

Today was an okay day if you don’t talk about the weather because it was not very good.It has been raining since the morning,but the rest of the day was nice.I walked to school,did my Palm Beach Wrights,did what I would do normally in school,then walk back home in the drizzling rain.It wasn’t that bad but still the dark sky looked like a monster with rain coming from the mouth of it.

The first thing I did today was make my delicious yellow banana shake and ate some whole grain cereal for breakfast.Then I walked my dogs outside and off I went to school.On the way to school I caught up with my friends from Sweden,Vincent.When we got to school he went to talk to his other 8th grade friends while I went to the media center and hit the books.I was studying for my test then I went to the computer to read a article about the hurricane in the Gulf Of Mexico.When the bell rang I went to my first class which was science and we got to measure objects around the room with a pan balance.It was pretty fun and you got to learn at the same time.

After math I went to lunch,put my backpack at my seat,and raced to the lunch line before it built up.At lunch I got a spicy chicken sandwich and an Arizona Iced Tea.The chicken sandwich actually had a little kick to it but I still ate it all because I was hungry after math,science,and team leadership.

After lunch I went to my language arts class and took the Palm Beach Wright which is a test that the whole school district takes to see how well you can write by using adjectives,five correctly placed paragraphs,words spelled correctly,and to see the statements are used correctly.In this case my class had to wright about a job they would want to have/be when they are older.I chose I would be a CEO/President of a big company.My 3 reasons where the money you would make to donate to charities,I would make good decisions for the company,and because it runs in my family.Overall I think I did pretty well on the test and hopefully I got a 6 which is the highest score as 1 is the lowest.

After the rest of my classes I walked back home with Vincent and then when I was home I walked my dogs before it would start to pour as it did later on today.Then I started a report on Interact (A non-profit organization that helps charities and is similar to Rotary,which is who created Interact)and then started reading my book I got a few days ago and today i finished it.The book was Millions by Frank Cottrell Boyce.It was a very interesting book but a little too easy.

That concludes my day!I hope you guys have a great day without miserable weather like in Wellington.

Finally I got home around midnight and now I am tired.My dad drove from Lake Lure.NC to our house which was about 11 hours south in West Palm Beach,FL.I was playing Field Runner’s TM and X-Plane 9 on the iPad.Well anyway now I will be back to writing a little bit more frequently.

Today we left the cabin in Lake Lure at about 11 in the morning to go to Asheville because my dad wanted to attend the Rotary meeting there.Beverly Perdue (or Bev),the governor of North Carolina was at the meeting and you wouldn’t believe the parking at the meeting.The news was there too,so it was pretty cool.

I didn’t get to go to the meeting but me and my mom got to go to a Pizza restaurant called Mellow Mushroom.Their pies where extremely good,me and my mom eat a Hawiian pie.But beware because their pie slices are huge!You can’t get both hands around it!

Then we went back to the cabin and on the way there we stopped at a store called Old Cider Mill where we bought some apple cider and other cool things.

Today I woke up at about 10 in the morning and had a good brunch.It was a Peruvian dish called “Peruvian Stuffed Peppers” in English.In Peruvian it’s called “Rocoto Relleno”.What it is,is stuffed bell peppers with ground beef,cheese,and hot peppers.Man after you done you mouth is on fire.Literally.

After brunch I went down to play some pool and watch a show on MTV called Silent Library.Its a pretty funny show.

Then we went to downtown Lake Lure and took a senic boat tour around Lake Lure that took roughly one hour.The cool thing was that we got to go where the famous scene from Dirty Dancing where Patrick Swaze holds Jeniffer Gray in the air like superman.

After the tour we spent about a half hour at the rocky broad river that passes through Lake Lure.It was fun climbing and crossing the river on the rocks.

Lake Lure Facts:

Lake Lure was man made and complete in 1927

A river passes through Lake Lure and a dam let’s the same amount of water that comes in out because if the water level is to high or low the houses will be either submerged or their boats will be stuck in the ground

A cemetery is buried at the bottom of Lake Lure.Some of the bodies were dug up but most are still there.
