SEPTEMBER 8TH 2010 GOOGLE LOGO

Yesterday I posted what yesterdays google logo looked like.It was with bubbles and it ran away from the mouse,but today they have another logo.This one is just like the original google logo only it is a color of gray.I have no idea why it is gray,but here’s a picture for you to see the September 8th 2010 google logo.
If you know why todays google logo is gray please comment of what you think has to do with the gray google logo.

If you type in the search box the logo will start filling out with colors.
My guess is that this is a way to present the new AJAX based Google Search. It will fill out the search box with results as you type your query. They should be releasing it later today.
